As a vocal coach, I believe it is vital to stay educated and up to date with the latest science developments and research. I am a fully certified Advanced Modern Vocal Training vocal coach and accredited Vocal Health First Aider. I am very passionate about continuing my studies and I continue to work with both of these organisations to ensure I am always up to date with the latest voice research, ensuring the most informed options and possibilities for my clients.

“I’ve had the pleasure of being Rachel’s vocal coach for the past year and I continue to be impressed by her dedication not just to her students, but to herself as well. She consistently works her voice, challenging herself to be the best that she can be, and studies the voice, relentlessly, to guarantee the best training for her clients. She is a star of a teacher and you would do well to study with her!"

I started my own business!

Judged at Soundwaves Music Competition at O2 Academy, Newcastle.

I enrolled in a leading vocal training course. The course focused on the health and science behind the voice. During training I had singing lessons with Master Teachers, Guy Babusek based in California and Stephanie Born-Kruegar all the way from Germany.

I first started teaching!

I released my first EP.

I studied in Music Performance and also completed Rockschool Grades in Vocals and Guitar. I have had a wide range of experience in song-writing and recording and continue to record, write vocals and feature on tracks of a wide-range of genres.

I have been given some fantastic opportunities myself. From small local performances, to being played on BBC Introducing multiple times, gaining over 75K views on one of my SoundCloud covers alone to even being asked to perform at the Olympic Torch Ceremony and the Pride of Northumberland Awards. I have performed in many charity events and talent competitions performing alongside 'X-Factor' and 'Britain's Got Talent ' finalists.

I started taking professional singing lessons. First of all studying the Speech Level Singing method then later, moving on to studying the IVA technique with my vocal coach. It was during these lessons that I was inspired to become a vocal coach myself and I became very passionate about the voice and how the voice works.
